In a changeover from Outlook 2000/2002 to 2003, I have come across some issues with mailbox rules and views. Quite a few times, the answer is running Outlook 2003 with an extra startup switch that will clean and check some of the settings.
Many times, files build up on servers in temp and log directories. Here’s one method to purge junk thats taking up space.
So you have a Windows XP system and you don’t feel like getting prompted to login all the time.
Start > Run > control userpasswords2
Select the account you want to use and then uncheck the “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer.”
Also note, you can clear out website cached credentials by going to the Advanced tab > Manage passwords button. Click the Remove button for any entries you want to clear out.
